I was born in Sheffield, and raised in Rome. 

After studying Architecture at the University of Liverpool I travelled widely before being serendipitously drawn to Tasmania in 1990. 

The island’s pristine solitary beaches, ancient forests and piercing sunlight easily seduced me. 

 

In 2016 I took a break from the drawing board to study print making and jewellery. I had not realised there was an essential process missing from my design work, that of making. 

 

Whilst my lifelong concern with architecture and problem solving may be evident in my jewellery’s attention to form, structure and detail, my work is often inspired by environment and place.

My unique works are about celebrating traditions, connections, and the making of memories.
